Dear Members of District 97P:

Congratulations! Last term 2018-2019, we achieved the highest recognition a district could achieve and that was the Smedley Distinguished District Award! And this term 2019-2020 we started fresh with continued enthusiasm, hand-in-hand collaboration, and awesome leadership team which is ready to go for a new height of greatness.

To maintain the same standard is not very difficult, but to soar up to the new height is challenging yet rewarding. This year we will make a new record that we have been waiting for since we established our own district five years ago. We need to and will have 60 clubs in order to delete the letter ‘P’ which indicates the provisional district status. When the leadership team was formed, we were very well aware of the challenges lying ahead yet we passionately, eagerly, committedly took the roles and responsibilities to strive for greatness.

You deserve to be a member of a complete district.

I trust that everyone can play his/her part to strengthen the clubs which will eventually contribute to the success of the district. To maintain and make your clubs strong is as important as to build new clubs in order to achieve the goal of 60 clubs. Let’s start with the Distinguished Club Program. There is no need to wait until the end of the term then chase for the Distinguished Club Program points when it can be done now.

I am confident that with your contribution to make your clubs distinguished and with the work of the awesome leadership team this term, we can achieve the long-awaited goal of achieving 60 clubs and earn a full district status.

Cheers!

Pipat Puengmongkolchaikij, DTM

District Director

Dear D97P Toastmasters,

Welcome to our new term! Let’s fill it with success stories that we could be proud of.

Setting up high standards for the district is cultivated from prevailing support from our members. We’re confident that this term, we can STRIKE the TARGET of having at least 60 clubs with 100% Distinguished Clubs.

What is truly inspiring is to have started our term with high-flying Toastmasters spirit. Our Club Officers Training brought steadfast leadership among our club executive team. Pathways explorers became more proficient during our Pathways Training. Invigorating Educational Campaigns were launched.

Let’s keep up the momentum and dynamically contribute to the success of our district.

Strike the Target!
