Dear fellow Toastmasters,
I could not leave my 2018-2019 Director Office at the end of my term (30 th June 2019) without boasting about our 97P District’s accomplishment.
Hooray, we have had achieved Smedley’s Distinguished District!
We have consequently turned the tide in revitalizing the existing clubs and growing new ones, as a result membership growth skyrocketed to a new high. I would like to attribute this magnificent success to all my fellow leaders who had consistently forged ahead with our arduous action plans, and gratefully thank each and every one for your formidable efforts and determination.
I am sure that the 2019-2020 Executive Team will be able to cut off the ‘P’ provisional sign within December 2019 and celebrate a fully-fledged District 97. We are now having touched the number of 50 clubs and a few in progress. Let’s march together in unison—One
Direction and One Voice.
Now I have passed the baton to District Director Pipat Puengmongkolchaikij, DTM at the Don Muang Airport on 30 th of June 2019 (midnight) after returning from presiding over the Big Toastmasters Awareness Day in Phnom Penh, Cambodia between 29 th and 30 th June 2019, which the Cambodian Toastmasters Leaders had committed to form at least half a dozen clubs in 2019-2020 Term.
Again, I gratefully thank my fellow District Executive Leaders, Club Officers and all Members for having contributed to this successfully splendid mission in one way or another during my 2019-2020 Term.
With best regards,
Nassara Suwasaraporn, DTM
2018-2019 District Director
“Do It Right – Do It Now!”
We finally turned the tide from a district that lost clubs, to being a Smedley istinguished District, the highest recognition a district can earn in Toastmasters, in term 2018 – 2019. The world is actually looking at our incredible success. As Program Quality Director 2018 – 2019, I’m so proud of every leader, team member, and member of District 97P whose actions and improvements contribute to the success of the district.
However the end of the term is not the end of our journey. We still keep on improving ourselves, enhancing quality club meetings, and building more clubs throughout the member countries. Our district is now getting closer and closer to earning a full district status which will happen when we reach 60 clubs.
And it will definitely happen very soon.
Pipat Puengmongkolchaikij, DTM
Program Quality Director 2018-2019
Dear D97P Toastmasters,
Did it Right – Celebrate Now!
Thank you so much for being a part of our District’s success for the term 2018-2019. It’s with enthusiasm that we valued our tagline “Do it Right – Do it Now!”.
Do it Right! – I would like to convey my sincerest gratitude to our members for supporting our district goals.
Do it Now! – I sincerely admire every member for maximizing your Toastmaster’s journey to become better.
It’s fulfilling to witness how our members are progressing in their communications and leadership skills. What’s more satisfying is to see how we’ve been supporting each other in creating success stories that our district can be proud of. As we celebrate our achievements, it’s with high hopes that we will also raise our ideals on how we could represent Toastmasters well. Let’s remain steadfast in achieving excellent performance and remain committed in contributing our skills not only to our Toastmaster’s family but everyone around us.
Do it Right – Do it Now!
